A web forum is a great foundation on which to build a superconnected international community. My vision for Moonshot Nexus is to develop the platform so that it empowers the community in powerful ways, well beyond a simple web forum.
It's an unprofitable pet project for me that I do in my 'spare' time, separate from the day-to-day of building the business side of Moonshot. I do it because I need a creative outlet and because I'm passionate about building the largest international space network of collaborators and competitors working to Accelerate Humanity.
I also like to surround myself with smarter people, so if you have experience in software development and would like to join me, let me know below.
I've been a part of popular forums in the past where sub-communities pop up around the development of Greasemonkey scripts, to create new features that aren't included in the core.
Nexus is a community-driven project led by Moonshot, and so, at least for now, I'd like to give anyone with the time and drive to contribute to the community in that way, to do so with my blessing.
These positions will be volunteer only (for now), and so any extentions you work on we will make open source and available to the rest of the Flarum development community.
Let me know below what your experience is and if you'd like to be involved. I'm looking for probably no more than 4 experienced devs who can contribute at least 5 hours per week.
