This is the first and probably only space SPAC that I feel makes sense for the company at the stage they’re at. RocketLab have a great track record with solid recurring revenue growth now - they’re a legitimate business. They’re still ambitious, but not disproportionately so like SpaceX which is why they certainly won’t go public any time soon - you don’t want to be beholden to the public market if an ambitious test fails!
Astra will probably have a good pop to begin with, but they are still in R&D. Virgin Orbit I love as a company, but I worry about their ability to keep access to capital at favourable valuations if they need it considering they are prone to big test failures and timeline blowouts. Momentus Space is a maybe because there’s less risk involved in what they do, but I’d like to see a lot more growth first personally.
what do you reckon @thomasrice ?
