Welcome to Moonshot Nexus. As a community, we've tried a few different iterations of providing a valuable forum for fostering online relationships and discussion for moonshooters - the members of our amazing community. I think we've found something special in going back to a good ol' fashioned web forum.
I welcome anyone who shares our ethos and hears our call to arms to Accelerate Humanity, to join Moonshot Nexus. Signing up to Nexus makes you a Member of Moonshot - you become a part of our international family. The knowledge and experience the nexus shares and shares and provides you with, compounds, as you and others share and connect with the network also.
My intention is to create a forum to bring together the hundreds of amazing people who I have personally met all across the globe who are passionate about Accelerating Humanity, to reduce the friction in tapping into this Moonshot community and network, and to invite the thousands of passionate people who I'm yet to meet as we all benefit from this compounding force of knowledge and mentorship.
Humanity has entered the age of the space economy. We're at a point in time where there is no longer a singular space industry, but a collection of space-related industries spanning every sector. 'Space' is a superset of locations we can now access, beyond the terrestrial locations on Earth, and each has unique attributes that humanity can use to unlock new opportunities.
I've called this forum Nexus as I hope it will become the connecting node for international space communities - of founders, professionals, investors, researchers, business leaders, policymakers, students and media communicators - to come together, discuss collaboration within healthy competition, and to co-create a more wealthy future for humanity.
We have a mission to give anyone, anywhere the opportunity to participate in the space economy. While we may not offer an accelerator program or a boot camp in a city local to you, we hope that this forum will help you tap into a useful amount of resources so that you can Accelerate Humanity too.
This web forum is an experiment, and it doesn't generate a profit - counter to all of our advice to you as Moonshooters! Let us do the hard work so you can focus on building scalable solutions to difficult challenges. Like the earliest stages of our Space Elevator model, we realise that knowledge is power. With power, you can change the world. We want to help you gain the knowledge you need to make a disproportionate impact on humanity's access to opportunity.
All we ask is that you contribute to scalable business models and technologies that help spread access to valuable solutions.
